The new 30-bed facility at Mansfield will provide a dementia-friendly environment tailored to the complex care needs of older Victorians. Residents will have private rooms with ensuites, designed to promote dignity, privacy, and independence. The facility will incorporate small households, each with its own kitchen, dining, lounge, and break-out sitting areas, fostering a homelike atmosphere. The design prioritizes natural light, green spaces, and open views, promoting residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.

The Campbells Creek Boardwalk development aims to enhance public access to the natural environment, create recreational opportunities, and preserve the area’s ecological values. Focused on sustainable development, the project seeks to minimize environmental impact by reducing erosion and preventing damage to the creek’s banks, which can occur when people walk directly on the ground. The boardwalk offers an eco-friendly way to explore the area while protecting its natural habitats.

The Wedderburn P–12 College redevelopment included the refurbishment of classrooms, enhanced science laboratories, and improvements to the school hall. Essential amenities such as the canteen, wellbeing spaces, toilets, and outdoor access areas were upgraded, along with stairs, ramps, new decking, and landscaping. The gymnasium roof was replaced, and the space has been repurposed as a dedicated shelter-in-place facility.

The East Loddon P-12 College project involved the creation of specialized learning spaces designed to support student development. A new classroom block was built, incorporating arts and science rooms, wood and metal workshops, and home economics rooms, in addition to general classrooms. These upgrades aim to enhance the student learning experience while providing teachers with modern facilities. Major refurbishments were also completed on Blocks B, C, and F, focusing on areas in need of improvement to better support contemporary education.

The Bendigo District Aboriginal Co-operative (BDAC) Stage 3 project features a two-storey health facility to meet the growing demand for locally accessible, culturally appropriate services. The ground floor will include ten consulting rooms, allied health rooms, interview rooms, and expanded office space, while the first floor will be dedicated to staff workspaces. The facility aims to deliver safe, accessible health services in a culturally safe environment, empowering individuals and supporting positive health and wellbeing outcomes.

The Swan Hill Specialist School project aimed to provide flexible, contemporary learning facilities that support students with disabilities through tailored education and wellbeing services. The exciting construction showcases the combined Structural and Architectural Steel design. Weldone was proud to partner with Nicholson Construction to complete this valuable community asset for the Mooroopna community to enjoy for generations.

The State of Victoria entered into the Project Agreement with Aegis Correctional Partnership Pty Ltd
(Aegis) for the design, construction and finance of a range of new facilities and systems including
a new 358-bed medium-security prison expansion of the existing Ararat Prison. Weldone was proud to be selected as a key contractor for the expansive works that showcased our skills in feature and architecture metal fabrication.

Epsom Primary School was set for a new look to cater for the fast growing regional suburb. Constructions included a new library, learning spaces & canteen. Weldone partnered with Searle Brothers Construction for the completion of the monumental project.

After many years of planning, the Bendigo and District Aboriginal Co-Operative commissioned three eye-catching buildings as part of their North Bendigo facility that house administration offices, a specialist medical centre plus many other family and community services. Weldone partnered with Select Architects and Nicholson Construction to undertake this monumental regional project that had been inspired from artworks of two local indigenous artists.

Bendigo Community Health Services (BCHS) developed the Helm Street site as the home to Kidzspace Bendigo. The initiative is a one-stop-shop for a range of family health services and emphasises the links between health promotion, community education, clinical services and social support.
